M2M Machine-to-Machine communication means automated communication between remote machines ( for example process or industry/automotive/home sensor unit ) and central management applications ( automated process control ) or end-user directly ( ie. SMS message or Web-browser ) It provides real-time monitoring and control without the need for human intervention.
